Listing some of the world’s finest yachts and residences among our clients, we have built a strong reputation in the industry for providing quality interior joinery and much more. Over the years The Boatworks has grown and changed, but we have never lost sight of the original character, the essence with which it was founded. True to our roots but with a passion for innovation, we take pride in the quality of our work and operate with an emphasis on creating an honest and consistent dialogue with clients in order to achieve the best results.
A ‘can do’ attitude is central to our ability to work on diverse aspects of yacht renovation and refitting. This sliding seaplane hangar (shown here under construction) was designed and built within 6 weeks.
We often carry out the fitting or re-caulking of teak decking. Careful selection of teak and a sound knowledge of all associated materials is imperative for the perfect finish.
Cabinet making is at the core of our business. We incorporate a combination of modern technology and good old fashioned carpentry skills to deliver joinery of the highest standard, as required by this most exacting industry.
Computer Numeric Control (CNC) has become a familiar component of our fabrication work as metal and stone are now very rarely cut by hand. Seeking the right blend of techniques is key in the construction of items such as this removable seaplane choc. CNC delivers the precision results required of such complex and robust constructions.
Over time we have grown and diversified our expertise in yacht renovation to extend to residential properties associated to the yachts. Often successfully completed works on board have provided inspiration to yacht owners for further projects on land which we have carried out with the same meticulous craftsmanship.
